Pattern

On my shoe pattern project I first turned simplified drawings of my shoe into a symbol. I then made 3 different patterns using my symbol as well as writing three different statements relating to shoes on each picture.

Alienation

On this assignment I simplified my object and drew it in three different angles using only black and white colors.

Object Drawing

I picked a green shoe as my object. For my object drawing I simply drew my shoe as I saw it.

Still Life

Still Life Images 1,2, & 3. Each of these drawings represent 3 objects that I drew on Illustrator. I physically set up the shapes and then drew the objects on Illustrator.

Travel Poster

I used the colors of the Italian flag, noodles, a pizza cutout of a pizza box from an Italian pizza place, real currency from Italy, and paintings of monuments all without using words to describe Italy. There were no photographs allowed for this project either but you had to think outside of the box for this project.

Illustrator Project

This project was done entirely on Adobe Illustrator. I used a simple phrase from John Lennons' Imagine as well as a picture. I attempted to have the lyrics wrap around his head in this picture.

Less is More

These two pictures are the last of the less is more project. In this project we had to simplify some pattern. For the last two we had to choose 1 color for the one on the right and color the one on the left.

The one on the left was the black and white reversed to see which color scheme was more effective. The picture on the right was part of an image cropped beyond recognition.

The image on the left is the image on the right cropped once. A tiger was the object I used for this project.
